Kareen M. Nunnally presently serves as Sr. Consultant / Master Trainer for Be Strong Families where she is supporting the ongoing development of Training Capacity which involves curriculum development, delivery of trainings, technical assistance, coordination, marketing, and quality assurance of Be Strong Families training workshops and events.
She brings with her over 30 years of direct, supervisory and administrative child welfare and parent/family engagement experience, ranging from residential, traditional / relative foster care, training and technical assistance.
Ms. Nunnally's approach is to address the challenges of today’s families by first exploring our own family challenges, thereby assisting professionals in the field to develop empathy through self-reflection and create a space that causes one to embrace the concept of partnership on all levels. These ideals reflect Ms. Nunnally’s passion to message that partnering and empowering parents is essential towards keeping children safe, families strong and communities viable.
Ms. Nunnally holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
